The importance of feedback after viewings.

We cannot over emphasise the importance of having feedback from buyers after a viewing. The reasons for this are two fold and are there to help both buyers and sellers alike;

For buyers providing feedback after a viewing;
After estate agents show you a property you can expect them to ask you for your thoughts. You may not quite be sure or you may have other properties to see that day - this is fine - we're not expecting an instant decision and our question is not there to pressure you. It's also fine to say that the property is not for you! After the viewing we will send you an email to ask for your thoughts and we will contact you again if we don't hear from you. We are trying to help you find a property that works for you, so let us know how your search develops, coming in to the office, calling us or emailing us regularly to see what we might have coming on to the market is great and could just get you a viewing of "the one" before anyone else.

If you like the property we can also try to let you know of other interest so you don't miss out. If you don't like the property we will try to find something else that may suit you more, whether it be bigger/smaller older/newer etc. If we don't have your thoughts, we might send you more properties of the same type which you may have decided aren't for you and we may not send you the property you are really looking for.

We like it when people come back to us so that we can help them and also so that we can pass on feedback to our clients.

For clients receiving feedback after viewings;
We understand from a sellers point of view that feedback from viewings is hugely important. You may have spent hours cleaning the house, taken the dog out for the viewing and you wait keenly after the appointment for any news. To not hear anything can be frustrating. Just to hear that the viewer didn't like the property or decided the location isn't for them is better than to hear nothing at all.

We will pass on all feedback to clients and be as constructive as possible so if we can change things for the next viewer we will.

As agents we are there to help both sides in the buying and selling process, that's why we have mailing lists of buyers that we can send property details to.
