We are proud to be sponsoring the Savernake Fun run on 27 June (and at least one of us will be running it!).
Starting and finishing on the school field at St Katharine's Primary School in the Savernake Forest, the course offers runners exclusive access to the privately owned Tottenham House Estate. The terrain is varied and incorporates fields, woodlands and tracks, with incredible views of the Wiltshire countryside.
The run is a fundraising event for St Katharine's Primary School, organised entirely by parent volunteers.
Every year, funds raised through such events support many of the activities and resources that enrich the taught curriculum in the school. The school is also currently saving towards the building of a small outdoor learning space that will be used for small group work and music. They are also hoping that it will provide a quiet area to support children who need time to talk.
