Part of our role at Brearley and Rich is to assist buyers in selecting the right location for their new home. We are extremely lucky to have a number of excellent villages around Marlborough, many of which still retain their local facilities and a great community and as such they remain ever popular with buyers of all ages. As part of a new feature we plan to include some details of some of these villages which we hope will be of assistance - if you would like your village featured next, please do let us know.
One of these popular villages in our area is Aldbourne where we currently have two properties for sale. This pretty village has a square with a pond and a large village green in front of the church. Within the village there is an excellent post office with cafe, a great Co-Op, two good pubs, an Ofsted outstanding primary school and some things you might not expect; a library, heritage centre, forge, tea shop, tennis courts/club, pre-school and nursery, to name just a few - there are many others including various clubs and societies. Like most villages Aldbourne has its own website where full details of everything going on can be found.
