Photography Matters

Date Published 16 October 2020

Here at Brearley and Rich we understand that our photos are of huge importance to both buyers and sellers alike. In the age of social media, we realise that we have a very short time in which to catch a buyers eye, encouraging them to look further and want to know more. However, on the other side, we have also heard countless times of photos showing unrealistic expectations of room sizes and even distorting room shapes, ultimately leaving buyers disappointed when they come to view a house. The right photos are therefore essential in showing a property in its best light, but not over promising only to disappoint when the property is viewed in person.

In order to get the best results we often connect our clients with one of our professional photographers, but we also take some photos ourselves so that we can quickly send these to "hot" buyers, or at a moments notice we can visit a property when the sun is out, or at the right time of day.

We also recommend considering how many photos are used online - enough to get a buyers interest, but not too many that they feel they have seen enough - while we can also create video tours to place on line or to email to buyers, we encourage a conversation so that we can tell people about a property and make sure it is right for them before travelling.

If you are looking for a considered personal service with an up to date and fresh approach to marketing, please do call us, we would be delighted to visit you with no obligation.
