Autumn market update

Date Published 16 September 2020

In any normal year, we would expect August to have been quieter as people are away on holiday, but this is no normal year. August continued to be busy and September has got busier still, with immediate interest in most new houses we have advertised.

As has been widely reported in the press, there are still buyers registering that are looking to move to a more rural location, with work from home space becoming more important, while connections to the road or rail network are still important even if the commute is only for 3-4 days a week.

The stamp duty holiday up to £500,000 has also galvanised much of the market with buyers and sellers alike keen to benefit from this saving.

We are actively looking for more properties of all sizes - if you are thinking of a sale please do contact us as soon as possible for an up to date market appraisal and expert independent advice.
