BREARLEY & RICH
COVID-19 - Update

As events continue to move quickly in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak, and advice from the government is updated regularly I wanted to outline the current precautions we are taking as a business to safeguard our clients, buyers and suppliers and to prepare for any future disruption.
As of March 17, we remain open while taking every reasonable precaution against spreading the virus and to that end we have adopted the following six point plan:

1. ALL applicants that register to view a property will be asked to confirm if they have any symptoms or have come in to contact with anyone that has contracted coronavirus.

2. Should a viewing be arranged, all viewers will be respectfully asked not to touch anything while on the premises.

(Handwashing at the property is a good idea before viewing. Please bring your own soap and paper towels/kitchen roll for hand drying and a bag for disposing).

3. In order to reduce unnecessary contact, we recommended that property owners are not present during viewings. If this is not possible we advise owners to wait in the garden for the duration of the viewing.

4. Should any member of Brearley & Rich staff show symptoms, the office on London Road will be closed until further notice (at least seven days) and we will adopt a work from home policy.
Please note, should we close the office please continue to contact us on 01672 514820 and sales@brearleyandrich.co.uk

5. In the event we are physically unable to attend a viewing it may be possible for property owners to conduct viewings at their own risk. This will be handled on a case by case basis in consultation with owners.

6. We respectfully ask that if you have an appointment to view one of our properties and a member of your family or friends, work colleagues etc is showing signs of coronavirus, you contact us and we will suspend viewings.

As part of our daily work we are regularly out and about. While government guidelines allow this, if you, an elderly neighbour or anyone who needs help is stuck or unsure about venturing out and requires help with shopping or collecting anything, be it a prescription or food supplies etc, please do not hesitate to ask for help and we will be pleased to help wherever possible.

Many thanks and keep safe.
